BizKids Summer Camp Program
A unique camp where individuals will start, run and close their own business. This exciting 5 day program will develop confidence, financial awareness and team work! Through high energy games and workshops this program will challenge every participant to discover their entrepreneurial skills.
Camps run either July or August.

Scotiabank Start-Up Business of the Year Award 2010

 

It is that time of year again and we are looking for our Start-Up Business (SUBY) of the Year for 2010. Is it you?

  

  Purpose:

  • To bring recognition from the City of Brampton to new small business owners who have prepared thoroughly for their venture.
  • To generate media attention for participating small businesses for promotional/public relations purposes.
  • To generate media attention for the competition, participants, sponsors & Brampton Small Business Enterprise Centre and its partners.
  • To promote the services that the Enterprise Centre offers to aspiring small business owners.
  • To encourage more participation in the "Emerging Business" category of  Brampton Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (BOBAA).

Get the information you need on the NEW Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

To provide clarity for businesses, transitional rules are required to determine which tax - the existing provincial retail sales tax or the provincial part of the HST – would apply to transactions that straddle the implementation date.
